World of Warcraft Item Upgrades
Upgrades to items give players the ability to upgrade their equipment that they already have. This can be done at any item upgrader NPC.
Generally, upgrades boost an item's main stats and provide extra benefits, based on the item type. Examples include Whistan's shield for FB sorcs and Goldwrap for casting builds.
Armour
Armour is among the key things that keeps Link protected from damage in all situations. While it isn't able to be upgraded like weapons, you can enhance its defence capabilities in different ways.
Armour is designed to protect animals or people from injury or harm, whether it's from a direct physical attack or from a variety of environmental or activity hazards. Historically, the majority of armour was made of fabric or leather, but metal protections were also used particularly for military purposes like heavy cavalry and combat drones.
Like weapons, there are a number of ways in which armour can be upgraded, but the majority of them require visiting one of the four Great Fairy Fountains located throughout Hyrule. Each fountain provides a different level of upgrade with more protection levels requiring more rupees as well as materials.
The first thing you need to know about Armor Upgrades is they are permanent upgrades which means that after they've been put in place, they cannot be replaced unless there is another piece of equipment that has the same upgrade. You should only apply most powerful upgrades to your equipment and make sure that you have the materials needed to complete them.
For those who want to acquire the upgrade components needed, you'll find them all over Hyrule including shrines, merchants, and even enemies. They are usually marked with an gold circle or blue triangle symbol, and are available in large numbers as you move through the game. upgrade item could appear randomly, but there is a possibility that getting certain upgrades will trigger a quest that will reward you with more.

It's important to keep in mind that, although the level offered by each upgrade could differ, it will always be greater than nothing. A complete set of upgraded armor will give you a powerful defense boost that can protect you from all types of attacks and will also protect against magic. This makes it a powerful weapon for any type of.
Weapons
If you'd like to make your guns unique, you can upgrade them with a variety upgrades. They can increase the damage, alter the weapon's stats to cater to your build, and even unlock new attachments like unique enchantments, ammo types, and aesthetic options.
You'll require both the upgrade component as well as the weapon itself to upgrade it. The weapon should also be at a certain level for the upgrade to take effect and most weapons only accept one upgrade at a time.
Weapon upgrade components can be found all over the world from a variety of sources, including merchants or enemies. Upgrade components are made up of ingredients that you can incorporate into armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools and trinkets in order to gain an attribute bonus. The equipment has to be of a certain level to accept the upgrade. It is able to be upgraded in the same way as other items.
The upgrades themselves are a mix of Smithing Stones and Runes, and are used for enhancing the stats of a base weapon and improving its scaling with other stats. They can be found from enemies that are dropped into the open world, bought from certain vendors or as drops in combat.
Two NPCs can enhance your weapon: Blacksmith Hewg, in the Roundtable Hold hub zone and the Smithing Master Iji, in the Road to Manor hub zone. Both of these NPCs accept your Smithing Stones or Runes to upgrade your weapon.
Prioritize upgrading your best-in slot items first. Then, upgrade the items that you aren't likely to replace anytime soon. If you're planning on playing a melee build, for example upgrade your weapon, then your chest and shoulders followed by your hands and feet. Similar principles apply to Magic and Utility Items, with the caveat that some procs may be better than others depending on your playstyle. The same goes for Armour and reforges, with some having superior performance over others.
Magic Items
A character is able to upgrade only one item of magic at one time. If an upgrade plan is cancelled then any subsequent upgrades for the item won't begin. Magic items that are upgraded cost double the amount of gold they normally cost to create or purchase, but they can also have extra advantages.
A magical item is any item with special properties or effects. These are usually weapons, but they can also be armors, shields or cloaks as well as potions. They could also be rings, scrolls or other items. Some of these items can be converted into a sentient.
Most magic items can be upgraded so that they are equipped with additional capabilities. This could make them more beneficial to a player or help them to overcome a difficult situation. Infused weapons can offer bonuses to damage against a particular type of enemy, for instance. This is particularly useful for characters who have reached a level where they will likely face the same kind of monster in dungeons repeatedly.
A ring infused with magic may give immunity to non-magical attacks that bludgeon, pierce, or slash (excluding attacks that are silvered) until the character is given a second rest. This is particularly beneficial for melee martial characters or any person who wishes to avoid buying an armor.
Certain items with enchanted properties have special abilities that let the character cast spells in addition to those listed on the list of spells for their class. This is beneficial for characters who have difficulty filling their spell slots due to multiclassing. These enchanted items generally require an Intelligence (Arcana) check prior to use, and the spell cast is determined by rolling on an array of tables determined by the number of Intelligence points expended.
Other items that can be enchanted may allow the player to change their appearance, or even create a completely new appearance. These items can be especially useful for characters that are forced to leave their home, or are in a location that they might not be welcome. An enchanted item might give them an invisible effect, or make them invisible to all other than a selected person.
Utility Items
Utility items are products that do not fall under the categories of clothing, armor or Weapons and offer various capabilities. They are not compatible with each other, unlike weapons or armor. Most utility items have a passive effect that the player can activate when using them, but some also have additional capabilities that are triggered when the user presses an action button or activates an ability.
The Flashlight is the most common utility item. It lights up the surrounding area. Other utilities include the Helicopter Hat and Rocket Boots, which allow players to fly in the air while they move, and the Jetpack that allows players to accelerate in any direction while on the ground. In the Engineering section you can instantly produce several useful items, while others are only available through research projects or experimental projects on the Proving Ground.
Players can gain more powerful utility items in addition to the items that are available in their normal inventory by purchasing them from the Atomic Shop or from seasonal Scoreboard rewards. Certain of these items can be upgraded to increase their effectiveness.
Most utility items increase an individual combat ability or provide the player with some kind of advantage when it comes to navigation. For instance, sharpening stones made by the Weaponsmith increase Ferocity and Power and Maintenance Oils made by the Huntsman increase Concentration and Healing Power. Other utility items, such as Writs and Theses created by the Scribe, can be used to give the player an increase in damage or condition damage.
XCOM soldiers can equip a single utility item to begin the campaign. A second slot is available after the completion of certain research, engineering, or research projects on the Proving Ground. During the Alien Hunters downloadable content, additional slots are available by equipping a Grenade Launcher. This allows the player to use an Smoke Grenade or Bomb while an offensive grenade is kept in the main slot.
